On Sunday 15th a leisurely cruise to the Yorke Peninsula saw 14 corvettes take to the road in good humour and brilliant sunshine and the occasion was uneventful except that one participant had a small problem with the temperature gauge & said car was abandoned & returned to after lunch when said gauge had returned to normal. On further investigation the problem appeared to have something to do with the driver hurrying to the lunch destination, it was also reported that the car made it home without further incident as there was no hurrying

A typically cool Adelaide Hills spring evening greeted the 27 club members who made their way out to Stuart and Ruth's place at Echunga. The bonfire was lit and after some precautionary "hosing down" of the flames everyone settled in for the night next to the warmth. After a few quiet drinks to start off with the gourmet pizzas began to emerge from the on-site oven. Our chef David Tremonte from 'The Pizza Round' did an excellent job of serving up a variety of delicious pizza choices with the dessert pizza being a favourite of many. As the night progressed many an interesting tale was shared between members and we were even surprised to have a cameo appearance by Angus McDoorn the resident Scottish/Dutch landowner. A big thank you must go to Stuart (aka Angus) and Ruth for putting on such an enjoyable and relaxing event.
