Bill & Michelle’s 1971 Corvette (SRAY~71) SRAY-71 is an early production Corvette Coupe that was born at the Corvette assembly plant in St. Louis on January 30th, 1971. It is an original California C3, 100% correct all numbers matching. It has the LS5 option, CPH code - 454-cid, with the Factory M21 close ratio 4 speed gearbox. The clock shows 65000 miles and although I cannot guarantee it, I’m fairly sure it’s accurate based on the cars overall condition. The car is original condition inside and out. Even the glass is all original and has the Astro Ventilation logos engraved on them. I even have the original spare tire that came with the car in1971! We imported the car from Florida late last year and it arrived in Adelaide in January 2011. Beside the mandatory Rego Compliance related work, we haven’t done much to the car except washed, waxed and polished her 6 times and driven her 5 times! We haven’t had much of a chance to drive her due to kids sports on the weekend etc. We are looking forward to getting involved with the club runs/ Cruises as we head towards summer. |
