Rudy & Kay (Members 125 & 139) purchased this 1998 C5 Convertible last year. It's powered by a 5.7 litre LS1 engine coupled to an automatic transmission. This Corvette's exterior colour is Arctic White and it has black and red interior trim.

Options include a factory white convertible soft top and chrome wheels.

They describe this car as a shed find as it sat unregistered for approximately 2 years before they bought it. The previous owner purchased it in the States and drove it around the U.S.A. before bringing it back to Australia in 2006 at which time it was converted to right-hand drive.

Since owning the vehicle a number of improvements have been made including fitting drilled and slotted brake rotors with pads to match and adding a new performance air cleaner. The engine, transmission and diff have all had a full service as well. The seats have been re-trimmed and a lot of cleaning has taken place both inside and out of car. "To bring the car up to this standard took a lot of hard work".

Rudy & Kay's favourite outings are Club runs, and driving with the convertible roof either up or down.

They also have another Corvette in their stable, it's a 1978 C3 Pace car which can be regularly seen on club runs.
