CHAPTER ONE

My name is Kevin Nagel and once upon a time I went to buy a car hoist and came home with a car hoist and another Corvette.

The wife wasn't happy.

The Corvette hit a gum tree 45 years ago and was parked up in a shed. I had to bring her home.

The car used to belong to Mick Hurl and I purchased it from Leonard for $8k including the care hoist. I was told it was a 1972 but in fact it ended up being a pretty rare 1970. So what does one do... You pull it apart. Here is the start of my saga.

Total strip down, body off, sand blast chassis and paint and then start to rebuild
